A Holiday Poem

Dear Diary

Well, Christmas is almost here, and since I'm in a festive mood I thought I'd write a poem for the occasion. Now everyone knows that my inner muse is a multi-talented gal, so I think this one will blow all those kids away!

I've written this in honor of our dear Margo, and I like to call it "Twas the Night Before Christmas".

Original, huh?

Twas the night before Christmas,
At ole Margarat's house.
Not a creature was stirring...
Well, except maybe a louse.
The empties were all stacked by the back door with care,
In hopes that Ernie's House of Spirits would soon be there

Ole Margo was passed out all ...

Perfect For The Holidays!

Hi-De-Ho Kids!

I've had all sorts of you kids writing and asking
QUOTE
"Edna Mae...with your looks and shear talent, just what do you suggest as a great Holiday gift?"

Okay, so I added a little to that, but people still ask me...okay, so MARGO asked me...where to get a great gift and I have come up with a doozy of an idea...

Dear Diary...

Oh my, how embarrassing Diary!

I just plum forgot all about you since I last wrote! Now you know I'm not the forgetful type, so hopefully this won't happen again anytime soon...at least I'll do my best! I just now suddenly remembered that I hadn't written in ages...just like I don't remember buying this lush pot of green moss on my nightstand...wait a minute - that's not a planter, that's a container for Clam Dip! Oh wait - that's not a pot of lush green moss, that IS Clam Dip! Well, I thought it was a little rank in here, but I just figured that new canned food I got ...

Dear Diary....

Well I'm not too sure about this whole 'blog' thingy, but Wagi has convinced me that it's just like an electronic diary where I am free to write down my innermost thoughts and jot down private things I could never say to anyone, and it will remain hidden away here...sort of my own hidden secret space where no one else will ever see it.

You know...while he sheds...and smells...and spends hours in the staff restroom, the dear fellow is so kind to look after little ole me this way. **giggle**

Oh course he probably recognizes that I'm one hip gal who stays on top of all this cutting edge World Wide Web computer-ish stuff. Yep, ...

First Slice Of Imaginaria 3d Is Done!
10/26/2006 07:37 PM (GMT)

As you may know, the problems with lag, even on the smaller bench representing the New Orleans Square section of Imaginaria, had gotten to the point where I was forced to break things up into smaller, ride-specific, benches. The first one completed was The Haunted Mansion and I'm happy to say it has now been released. You can find some more screens as well as a link HERE.

Next up is The Pirates of the Caribbean, the ride is almost done, but know that Vodin has come up with all his cool tables and restaurant items, I plan to re-do the interior of the Blue Bayou before I release it.
More Billboard Fun

Sometimes you really want a certain look in your park. The in-game objects don't supply it, there's no custom scenery available to fill in... what do you do?

Sometimes it's as easy as coming across a photo or image that DOES portray what you want. Often you can use these images on billboards in the background to add depth and detail to areas of your park.

This screen is from Imaginaria DisneySea, a work in progress. You can click on any of the thumbnails to open a larger view in the same window.

I found an image of an actual fountain featured in the Tokyo Disney Sea resort. I thought it gorgeous, but wasn't sure how to include it in my version of a DisneySea-style ...

Some Patience Still
08/29/2006 11:09 AM (GMT)

Would love to start a blog here, but at the moment I don't have so much time, as well as I don't have a current park about which I could write: the parks I am working on now, are H2H4 parks, and as the rules of these matches are that you are not allowed to talk about these parks (except with the members of your own team of course) as well as that the makers stay anonymous till after the voting, I cannot write about that.

I thought of taking out my notes on one of the Road Rallies I have done, as I always collect lots of notes when planning and making a park, so may be that could work also......

Let me know if someone might be interested in one of them?
